Freeing myself and my family from a lifetime of clutter
I’ve never called it that but I’ve been working on that cleansing process for some time . now I have a name for it😊
When we moved a couple years ago , it helped me clean out a lot of things, but I’m always going through things and decluttering. It’s become a habit for me now, but I am always working on it with that same thought of what I want my family to have to deal with when I pass! I also try to think of it as a ministry of how I can bless other people with things that are still nice, but I no longer need . however, sometimes I feel I need to pass on something special that really does mean something to me, but I want someone else to be blessed by it .
Thanks for your vulnerability, Hayley !
I love it. Judy B
Wow! Very timely! Thanks for the tips. I spent days in my basement this smoky summer 😎 and still have a ways to go. I listened to some cool podcasts to help make the process more enjoyable. Next summer, I plan to make deeper cuts in stuff that I couldn't part with this year. Perhaps I will start with the kitchen towel drawer.
